Senators' Mika Zibanejad returns to lineup after brief hiatus

Ottawa Senators' center Mika Zibanejad, sidelined with unspecified upper-body injury for Saturday's game against the Phoenix Coyotes, is expected to be back in the lineup against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday night.

Many in the media were speculating that the concussion-prone Zibanejad suffered yet another at the hands of the Florida Panthers, and coach Paul MacLean being so cryptic with the media fueled the speculation even further - but him returning to the lineup so quickly should squelch those rumors.

Zibanejad's protracted concussion issues and the lengths to which conspiracy theorists believe the Senators went to hide them from the public are at the forefront of the speculation, and perhaps the reason why the team stashed him in the AHL at the start of the season...

...but since being called up in late October, he has responded with eight goals and 15 total points, going from the energy line to the top line in a little over a month.
