Bruins' Daniel Paille to return against Senators

The Boston Bruins' famed Merlot Line - decimated by injury and dark malfeasance - is one step closer to being whole once again.

Left winger Daniel Paille is expected to return to the Bruins' fourth line along side centerman Gregory Campbell and right wing Jordan Caron, who is filling in for regular right wing, tough guy Shawn Thornton, who is serving a 15 game suspension for an assault on Pittsburgh Penguins Brooks Orpik.

Paille is a high energy skater, known for his slick skating an intricate board work - taking just 20 shots in 30 games, finding twine thrice and and helping on two others and sports a plus-one rating while averaging 10:27 of ice time per game.

The victim of a "Mild Concussion", Paille has missed the past seven games.

“I wouldn’t say it was one hit,” Paille recanted recently. “For a while, it was working on my neck. I think over time, it was hit after hit after hit. I didn’t necessarily have symptoms back then. It was just my neck was really sore and hard to move. The travel from Toronto to Calgary felt a little different.”

The team sent the 29-year-old back to Boston in the middle of a Canadian road swing after approaching the training staff on the flight from Toronto to Calgary complaining of headaches - doctors determining that he was concussed upon arrival and thorough examination.
