Hawks' pest Shaw lights the lamp in return from UBI

On the ice, Andrew Shaw is annoying, an agitator - the pest that loves to crawl under his opponants' skin - and given his diminutive stature and the frequency of sending the opposition into a frothing rage, he has earned the title of the Blackhawks' little ball of hate.

In his return from an upper-body injury that kept him out of two games, Shaw annoyed, agitated and pestered the Florida Panthers in just ten minutes of ice time, scoring his ninth goal of the season while he was at it - even spending two minutes in the sin-bin for good measure.

Nothing like feeling at home.

Shawn got belted in the boards in the Blackhawks' loss against Dallas a week ago, but to hear him talk, keeping him out of the lineup was just precautionary in nature.

They thought they’d just give me a few nights off with this busy schedule coming up - Andrew Shaw

One of the leagues leading hitters, Shawn has logged 18 points, split evenly between goals and helpers on 58 shots on goal - scoring a goal against the Panthers in the third period on his only shot of the game in helping the Hawks break a three-game skid.
