Blue Jackets to get Sergei Bobrovsky back on road trip

The news gets better and better for the Columbus Blue jackets - and they could use it.

According to multiple reports, goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky - out with a groin strain since the beginning of December - will accompany the team on their four game road trip, with the feeling that he will start his first game between the pipes in nearly a month at some point during the roadie.
Bobrovsky injured the groin making a routine save during the team's win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on December 3rd, but the team has proven more than resilient, posting a 6-4-1 record during his absence and going 3-1-0 in their last four games.

Before the injury, "Bob" had posted a 10-11-2 record with a save percentage of .909 and a goals against average of 2.72, and there has been no drop off in net since, with Curtis McElhinney going 6-6-1 with a stat line of .914 and 2.62 - and the Blue Jackets find themselves just four points out of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

"We tried to test everything more and more, how it feels, how it works," Bobrovsky told the Columbus Dispatch , "I feel pretty good, yeah. I feel pretty good."
