#NYR say Marc Staal, recovering from concussion and skating, will travel with club on five-game road trip.

The rugged defenseman sustained the injury on December 7th in an overtime loss to the New Jersey Devils and has missed a total of eight games since the diagnosis, the Rangers a mediocre 3-4-1 in those contests, though they are riding a modest two game winning streak that have them sitting at .500.
The 27-year-old has played in 30 games this season and taken 30 shots on goal scoring twice and helping on another and has a minus-seven rating while eating up twenty minute of ice time per game.
Stall began skating last weekend and had a spirited skate on Monday before gearing it down for the Christmas break.
